Stamford Hotels and Resorts to Host Leading Business and Political Figures for Forbes Global CEO Conference

Stamford Hotels and Resorts are to play host to some of the world’s leading business and political figures following its selection as the official hotel group for the Forbes Global CEO Conference.

The three-day conference, which opens in Sydney on August 30, has attracted a range of high-calibre speakers and delegates. These include the former Mayor of New York Rudolph Giuliani, Prime Minister of Australia John Howard, Chairman of the Shui On Group in Hong Kong Vincent Lo, Chairman of the Bank of East Asia Sir David Li, Chairman of the Board of Management for BMW Helmut Panke, and Hugh Morgon, President of the Business Council of Australia.

A large number of guests and delegates are expected to attend the conference, the fifth in the Forbes Global CEO Conference series.

The hotel of choice for speakers, associates and many delegates is the renowned Sir Stamford at Circular Quay. The 105-room property, which features one of Australia’s largest private collections of fine art, is regularly voted the leading hotel in Australia and has topped the Conde Nast Traveler Gold list.

Stamford Hotels and Resorts, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2005, has 10 hotels in Australia and New Zealand, including five properties in Sydney.
