Finnair and Qantas increase cooperation on routes between Finland and Australia

Travel News Asia 19 April 2005

Finnair and its Australian oneworld alliance partner, Qantas, have commenced code-share flights between Helsinki and Brisbane via Singapore. The cooperation flights have both Finnair and Qantas flight numbers and are operated via Singapore. Finnair flies to Singapore four times a week normally and this summer will offer daily operations to the city from 30 May to 1 September. This enables a daily code share service to Brisbane during the summer season.

The flights depart from Helsinki at 11.30pm arriving in Brisbane 6.35am the day after the next day. From Brisbane the flights depart at 1.55pm arriving in Helsinki at 6.45am the next day.

The airlines already have an existing code-share agreement between Helsinki and Sydney via Bangkok.
