China Southern Airlines
has entered into a new FFP partnership with Taipei-based China Airlines.
Under the new agreement, which is slated to start today,
China Southern Airlines and China Airlines will allow each of their respective
carriers to offer new travel benefits to their frequent customers.
Members of China Southern’s Sky Pearl Club frequent flyer program will be able to earn and redeem miles on China Airlines-operated flights that are marketed with
China Airlines’ “CI” code.
At the same time, members of China Airlines’ Dynasty Flyer frequent flyer program will be able to earn and redeem miles on flights operated by China Southern and
marketed with the airline's two letter “CZ” code.
