He also stated how delighted he was to greet his first guests at the newly refurbished resort.

"It is great to be back in business again. Everyone has worked very hard to get the hotel back to its best and I would like to thank all the staff for their loyalty and dedication. We have paid all of our staff throughout the closure and we have been rewarded with enthusiasm and excellence from them," said Mr Seigle.

The resort has undergone renovation and refurbishments throughout the public areas resulting in a fresh contemporary Thai style with the use of fabrics and silks from the Mae Fah Luang Foundation. To celebrate the re-opening, the hotel is offering special rates starting from US$95+++ per night from now until 31 October 2005.
