Trudy Bronya Moreno has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at the InterContinental Doha.
The Australian, who is moving into the role from a similar position in Malaysia, will bring to the role a wealth of experience based on her long-term dedication to the Far
East market.
Having gained experience in sales and marketing roles at properties in Malaysia, Hong Kong and China, Moreno
said she is looking forward to working in the vibrant Middle East hotel sector.
“The InterContinental Doha is a grand landmark hotel and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to assist in building the success of the property. It is going to be a
wonderful experience working in the Middle East – which has emerged as an exciting ‘place to be’ for hotel professionals,” said Moreno.
The InterContinental Doha is located in the West Bay area of Doha, overlooking the
crystal blue waters of the Persian Gulf.
Boasting
one of the largest free form pools and longest beaches in town, the property is also within minutes of the major business offices, Doha Golf Club and shopping malls.
