Amari Atrium Hotel in Bangkok organizes special Chocolate Christmas Tree for Charity

To welcome the new year 2006, the Amari Atrium Hotel on New Petchburi Road in Bangkok has been organizing the “Biggest Chocolate Christmas Tree for Charity” to encourage tourists and hotel guests to enjoy the atmosphere of the festive season.

The 30 pastry chefs strong team working on the special Chocolate Christmas Tree is led by Swiss Nationality Chef, Mr. Max Huber, Executive Chef of the Amari Atrium Hotel. The Chocolate Christmas Tree is made of 200 kilograms of mouth watering Swiss Chocolate, is 5.30 meters tall and 2.30 meters wide. In total it will take roughly one month to complete.

From 1st December 2005 – 15th January 2006 Fortune Cookies will be sold at the hotel at 299 Baht /bag to raise funds for the Foundation under the King Patronage, and anyone who buys a Fortune Cookies bag will receive a certificate of participation of “The Biggest Chocolate Christmas Tree for Charity”

The opening ceremony will be jointly presiding over by H.E. Mr. Hans-Peter Erisman, the Ambassador of Switzerland to Thailand on Thursday 15th December 2005 at 7.00 p.m. in the hotel’s lobby. The Chocolate Christmas Tree will be displayed in the 12-storey atrium lobby of the hotel from 15th December 2005-15th January 2006.
