Malaysia Airlines becomes WORLDHOTELS' 11th Air Partner

Travel News Asia 1 August 2005

Malaysia Airlines, from today, becomes WORLDHOTELS’ eleventh loyalty marketing airline partner.

Over 750,000 members of the Malaysia Airlines frequent flyer programme, Enrich, will now be able to earn mileage points for staying at the nearly 500 member hotels of the global hotel sales, marketing and distribution organization.

WORLDHOTELS member hotels have been invited to participate in a special promotion celebrating the new partnership.

The "WORLDHOTELS Enrich Experience" will offer double mileage points for Enrich members from August 1 to October 31, 2005.

“We see significant marketing benefits for both our member hotels and for Malaysia Airlines through this strategic alliance with the largest airline in Southeast Asia,” said Roland Jegge, Asia Pacific Vice President for WORLDHOTELS.

Malaysia Airlines will be promoting the WORLDHOTELS brand name and logo on its website and in its frequent flyer newsletter, World of Riches, to inform members of the advantages of staying at its member hotels.

WORLDHOTELS has seven member hotels in Malaysia, its strongest portfolio of presences in Asia after China and Thailand.
