Per Aquum Resorts & Spas appoints Cecelia Duffy as Spa Training Manager

Per Aquum Resorts & Spas has appointed Cecelia Duffy as Spa Training Manager.

Cecelia will report directly to Claire Branch, Director of Group Spa Operations and will oversee the training standards and services for all spas within the Per Aquum portfolio. This includes Aquum Spa at Huvafen Fushi and Kurumba Maldives and Sen Spa at Dhoni Mighili, Full Moon Maldives and Baros Maldives.

Cecelia will be responsible for the training of all team members and will also design signature treatments for the two spa brands, Aquum Spa and Sen Spa and the spa site itself, whether it be Huvafen Fushi, Dhoni Mighili, Kurumba, Full Moon or Baros. In addition to this Cecelia will be responsible for establishing a detailed yearly training calendar and creating unrivalled standards for all treatments offered.

Cecelia joins Per Aquum from Grand Cayman where she held the position of Head Therapist at The Beauty Spa at The Hyatt Regency, Grand Cayman. During her three year tenure at The Hyatt Regency, Cecelia was instrumental in the smooth running of the department and the continuation of the high treatment standards as befits a 5-star resort. Whilst in Grand Cayman, Cecelia also held the position of Lecturer in body massage at Grand Cayman College.

Cecelia has over 15 years of experience within the spa industry and holds qualifications in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Ancient Thai massage, Bowen Therapy and La Stone therapy. She began her overseas career with the Saudi Arabian Royal Family as their holistic therapist and reflexologist, travelling with the Royal family and performing all massage treatments as required.

Following this Cecelia was appointed Holistic Therapist / Reflexologist at Kemer Golf and Country Club, Istanbul. Here Cecelia was instrumental in the establishment of a new therapy department which allowed her to sharpen her business skills along with her massage techniques. Key responsibilities included the promotion of the new treatments and liaising with other departments to increase business and maximise profits.
