Amadeus Hong Kong appoints new General Manager

Amadeus has appointed Mr. Louis Lee as General Manager of its operations in Hong Kong. He will be responsible for all aspects of the operations of the wholly owned National Marketing Company (NMC) in the market behind ambitious new growth targets.

Mr. Lee, formerly Asia Pacific’s Director of Airline Business for Amadeus, brings to the position a wealth of management experience in the industry. Actively involved at a senior executive and strategic level in managing Amadeus’ airline customers in the region, Lee has during his tenure overseen the rapid expansion of Amadeus throughout the region and expects to drive growth in Hong Kong, which is considered a key component of Amadeus’ Greater China network.

Mr. Lee who worked for Cathay Pacific in different capacities for twenty years before joining Amadeus, including Manager Distribution Systems, where he was in charge of all aspects of the airline’s distribution strategy and GDS relationship management, graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Master Degree in Business Administration.

Established in August 2003, Amadeus Hong Kong is Amadeus’ wholly owned National Marketing Company for Hong Kong and Macau. Amadeus Hong Kong, with a staff of almost twenty highly experienced professionals is part of a network of seven fully integrated offices currently serving Greater China, including Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shanghai in China, as well as Kaohsiung, Taichung, Taipei, and Taoyuan in Taiwan.
