Hertz UAE rewards Travellers with Air Miles Bonus

Travel News Asia 16 December 2005

Middle East travellers making overseas car rental bookings through Hertz UAE can now reap extra rewards.

Hertz is giving away a free Air Mile for every Dirham spent on prepaid international reservations vouchers. The all-inclusive prepaid rates are available for over 170 countries in Europe, the USA, Africa and Asia and can be purchased by calling Hertz UAE’s International Reservations Centre.

As an extra bonus customers who book a rental for more than six days will receive 5,000 Air Miles. Air Miles can be exchanged for a huge selection of goods ranging from air tickets and spa treatments to electronic items and jewellery.

The International Reservations Centre handles all business and leisure car rental requirements for UAE residents travelling overseas. The team has been specially trained to ensure customers are met with a comprehensive knowledge of popular destinations and can also organise International Driving Licences.

“The new Air Miles scheme gives an added incentive for customers to use our International Reservations Centre. Not only do we smooth the process of booking a vehicle overseas and allow customers to pay in local currency but we can also advise on aspects such as hotels, attractions and local rules and regulations at destinations,” said Bob Farrow, general manager of Hertz UAE, part of the Al-Futtaim Group of companies.

Hertz has 13 branches throughout the UAE and also operates a 24-hour call centre to deal with inbound bookings.
