The
Genting Highlands Resort has been voted as the World’s Leading Casino Resort and Asia’s Leading Casino Resort at the World Travel Awards (WTA) 12th Annual
Ceremony 2005. The WTA official Gala Ceremony, held at the Royal Opera House in London on November
13, 2005, is regarded as one of the world's most comprehensive travel awards ceremonies.
“The distinction of being recognised as the World’s and Asia’s Leading Casino Resort are a great acknowledgement of our service excellence and our ability to produce
world-class integrated resorts that benefit the tourism industry in the countries that we operate,” said Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, Chairman, President and Chief Executive of
