Tawana Ramada in Bangkok now available through Utell by Pegasus

Travel News Asia 15 September 2005

The Tawana Ramada Hotel in Bangkok is now available through the Utell by Pegasus representation service.

Through the Utell by Pegasus service, the Tawana Ramada can be booked through the global distribution systems (GDSs) used by travel agents around the world, as well as on more than 1,000 web sites. Promoted as “a hotel with class and character,” the 260-room Tawana Ramada is centrally located in the heart of Bangkok near many of the city’s attractions, including major commercial buildings, banks and financial institutions, shopping centers, hospitals, Queen Sirikit Convention Centre and Thailand’s best known university, Chulalongkorn University.

The hotel opened in 1970 as the Sheraton-Bangkok, and was later renamed Tawana Sheraton to enhance the name of the owning company. The hotel joined Ramada International in 1987 operating under the name Tawana Ramada. With recent extensive renovation work on both the guest rooms and public area, the Tawana Ramada aims to provide the highest standards of service and comfort to business and leisure travelers visiting the city center.
