Blue Canyon Country Club, home to two of Phuket’s award-winning 18-hole championship golf courses, today announced a major plan that involves a strategic
partnership with RREEF Global Opportunities Fund II LLC, a real estate investment fund managed by DB Real Estate.
Under this development plan, the partners
will invest THB2 billion of capital (approximately USD48.8 million) into Blue Canyon to transform the renowned property.
Legendary hotelier Adrian Zecha, Chairman of
General Hotel Management Ltd (GHM), Kerry Hill Architects and Jaya Ibrahim & Associates have also been engaged to lend their expertise to ensure an elegant
transformation of the property.
Mr. Adrian Zecha, the driving force behind world-renowned hotel chain Aman Resorts, will conceptualise the luxury villas around the famed Canyon Course, which will
be designed by Kerry Hill Architects. The villas will be available for sale by invitation, with more details to be unveiled over the next few months.
Mr. Jaya Ibrahim, one of Indonesia's foremost interior designers, will be adding their magical touch to this established property. They will be completely transforming the
interior of the Clubhouse and the Golfers’ Spa Lodge. He will also oversee the upgrading of the residential apartments, including the exterior and landscaping of the
common areas.
Kerry Hill Architects, together with Ibrahim, will lead the design and oversee the building of the new Country Clubhouse, which will boast brand new
sporting, dining and leisure facilities that will fully cater to the needs of members and guests.

The refurbishment of the resort will be conducted in stages so as to minimise disturbance to members and
guests. The property will remain open throughout the facelift.
