TTInteractive and Amadeus partner to offer competitive IT solutions to regional and small international airlines

Travel News Asia 14 December 2005

Amadeus has signed a partnership with Travel Technology Interactive (TTInteractive), to offer enhanced passenger service & distribution solutions to regional and small international airlines worldwide.

The package offered by TTInteractive and Amadeus includes a web-based end-to-end customer management solution, Aeropack, designed by TTInteractive, plus access to Amadeus’ global distribution channel and communication network.

Aeropack, which is currently used by 11 airlines, is specially adapted to suit the specific needs of regional and small international airlines and can be deployed in just one month. It integrates key functionality for them to efficiently manage their passenger services. This includes applications for inventory management, multi-channel reservation, yield and revenue management, departure control, electronic ticketing, code-share and interlining, plus real-time reporting to monitor business operations.

Through Amadeus’ global distribution and communication network, Aeropack customers will gain distribution reach that was previously unavailable to them, in addition to cost savings by using Amadeus’ extensive global communication infrastructure for their messaging processes. Their inventory will be marketed through the 75,000 travel agency locations connected to Amadeus, as well as by some of Europe’s leading internet portals. In addition, Amadeus Message Net will provide them with fast and secure connections for their day-to-day communication with the airline community and Amadeus’ best-in-class TCP/IP networks.

Frédéric Spagnou, Vice President of the Airline Business Group at Amadeus points out that, “Small airlines now have access to a competitive solution matching international standards that will allow them to compete better at a global level. This agreement also reflects Amadeus’ ambition to distribute the inventory of every airline in the world, regardless of their size.
