Bavaria Hotels International appoints UK Representative

Bavaria Hotels International recently appointed Marketing Design Plus as its UK representative.

Heading up the UK sales activities will be Ms Chloe Waters, formerly with CIB and First Choice Holidays in the UK. Marketing Design Plus is the sister company of destination marketing and PR company, Representation Plus, established since 1994.

Marketing Design Plus will initially focus on the positioning in the UK market of Bavaria Executive Suites Dubai, which is scheduled to open during the 4th quarter of 2006 in the heart of ‘new’ Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road at Dubai Media City.

Focussing on relevant tour operator programmes, and working closely with local destination marketing companies and airlines, Marketing Design Plus will target the meetings, conference and leisure groups market in the UK for the Bavaria Executive Suites Dubai. This will include training of travel agency and tour operator sales and reservations personnel, to equip them with knowledge of Dubai, the hotel, and the German-based hotel company.

According to Thomas Gertz, CEO Bavaria Hotels International, “Bavaria Executive Suites Dubai will open late 2006 as the largest suite hotel in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and with 2100 designer suites, we were looking for a powerful UK-based representative with the knowledge and contacts to establish the hotel firmly in the minds of both leisure and business travellers, as well as the all-important MICE market.
