InterContinental Phoenicia in Beirut re-opens

The landmark Beirut hotel, the InterContinental Phoenicia, has re-opened its doors for business.

While sections of the hotel are now open for business, it will be May before all the rooms are open to guests. 

Committed to driving the InterContinental Phoenicia’s success, Pascal Gauvin, InterContinental Hotels Group’s Lebanon Director of Operations said, “Here at the InterContinental Phoenicia we make every effort to make our guests feel at home – and it is these high standards of service and attention to detail that has attributed to maintaining our prestigious reputation over the years.”

During the short-term closure of the hotel, significant renovation work was undertaken to improve facilities. All rooms, restaurants and public areas have been modernized, IP telephones have been installed throughout, an additional 16 Junior Suites have been added based on the high demand for high-class accommodation, and all Club Floor rooms now come equipped with 30” LCD TV screens.
