HPL Hotels & Resorts (HPLHR), a Singapore-based hospitality management company and a wholly owned subsidiary of main-board listed Hotel Properties Limited
(HPL), recently appointed Karen Chan as Marketing Communications Manager.
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, Karen will be responsible for creating, implementing and overseeing communication programmes across the group’s
brand and business plan objectives. Her role also entails supporting the group’s various hotels’ Marketing Communications teams in developing growth strategies to
increase the respective properties’ visibility in the meetings, conventions, incentives, and exhibitions (MICE) sector.
Karen brings with her six years’ of journalistic and marketing communications experience in the MICE industry. She has written for a travel portal and various trade
publications, including a leading regional MICE magazine, and accumulated her marketing communications experience from working in an international convention
centre.
