The
Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai has appointed Ms Anny Tan as Director of Sales & Marketing, for the hotel complex comprising 301 hotel guest rooms,
126 serviced furnished apartments and 62 luxurious residences.
Prior to her appointment with Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai, Anny was the Director of Sales & Marketing (since pre-opening) for the
Traders Hotel, Dubai in Deira which celebrated its first birthday in July this year. Reporting directly to the General Manager, Mr Bernhard Haechler, Anny will be responsible for the hotel’s Sales
& Marketing function, overseeing the Sales, Reservations, Events Management and Communications teams.
Originally from Malaysia, Ms Anny Tan’s career with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts dates back to 1995 when she joined Shangri-La’s Rasa Sayang and Golden Sands
Resorts, Penang. Prior to this she was employed by Pan Pacific Singapore where she gained valuable operations experience in Banquets and Conferencing, Front
Office, Executive Club and Food and Beverage.
