Pegasus Solutions signs Five Prominent Pakistan-based Travel Agencies for Hotel Commission Processing Services

Five leading Pakistan-based travel agencies have signed agreements with Pegasus Solutions to use Pegasus hotel commission processing service.

The five new agency members of Pegasus Commission Processing are:

- Proficient Travel - With agency locations in Lahore and Karachi, Proficient was recently honored by Swiss, Emirates and KLM airlines as a top agency. Proficients multi-national corporate clients include Nestle, SaudiPak, and Leverbrothers.

- Travelocity - Only two years old, Travelocity has quickly established itself as a leading provider of group and business travel in Pakistan.

- Travel Easy - One of the oldest travel agencies in Pakistan, Travel Easy recently signed an agreement with Indian travel agencies to promote cross-boarder tourism.

- High Land Travels - The oldest agency in Lahore, High Land has an impressive roster of corporate clients, including Coca Cola, Pepsi and the Government of Punjab.

- Air Alliance Travels - Air Alliance is a relatively new agency staffed by experienced airline and travel personnel with background in both corporate and group travel.

Nearly 8,000 travel agencies in the Asia-Pacific region are members of Pegasus Commission Processing, including more than 480 in Pakistan.

Pegasus facilitates payments to travel agencies from more than 40,000 hotels around the world. Many prominent Asia-Pacific chains, including Mandarin Oriental, Marco Polo, Nikko Hotels, Oberoi Hotels, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, and Taj Hotels participate in Pegasus Commission Processing.

To perform the service, Pegasus collects hotel participants actual guest stay information from hotel bookings made by travel agents. Pegasus captures and consolidates the participating hotel properties information and commissions, sending detailed reports and consolidated payments each week to member agencies.
