Jorgen Jorgensen appointed General Manager of the InterContinental Dubai

Mr Jorgen Jorgensen has been appointed by InterContinental Hotels Group as General Manager of the 287-room InterContinental Dubai.

Mr Jorgensen’s new appointment at the hotel, follows his previous posting as General Manager of the InterContinental Aphrodite Hills, Cyprus.

After working within the hotel industry for more than 30 years, Mr Jorgensen brings a wealth of experience to his new role having held managerial positions at properties across the world, including the UK, America, Indonesia, Europe and now the Middle East.

The Danish father-of-two attributes his career success to a neighbour’s words, saying, “It was a wise neighbour, who always was right in what they said, told me I would fit right into the hotel industry. I know I took the right decision – it’s not because I have to do the job, it’s because I love it.”
