ZUJI partners with Silversea and Cruise Agents to offer luxury cruise packages online in Singapore and Hong Kong

Travel News Asia 12 December 2005

CruiseAgents and SilverSea have joined forces to make a wide range of luxury international cruise options available to travellers online at ZUJI Singapore (zuji.com.sg) and ZUJI Hong Kong (zuji.com.hk).

The move follows a successful three-way partnership with ZUJI in Australia (zuji.com.au), where cruise package sales have now reached US$1million.

CruiseAgents Managing Director Mr Brett Dudley is an advocate for a changed approach to cruise product distribution in changing times, “There are three things that make me incredibly confident that our partnership will change the face of cruising in Singapore, and that online cruise bookings will grow rapidly as they have done in Australia. First, we know Singaporeans aspire to luxury; second, we know Singaporeans are very net savvy and many already book their travel online; and thirdly, we are absolutely passionate about making Singapore a successful cruise outbound, as well as inbound, port - a vision, which fits with the Singapore government’s integrated resort planning and tourism vision for the nation.”

SilverSea Vice President, Asia Pacific’s Mr Steve Odell is optimistic about the future of cruising in Asia, and online bookings, “Singapore has been a welcome port for many of our international travellers. We are very committed to helping agents promote our re-defined cruises, and online distribution. Cruise package distribution via ZUJI sites in Singapore, and across Asia Pacific, will become a very important part of the overall distribution channel mix for our cruises in the near future.”

More than 300 cruise package options are currently available on ZUJI Singapore for 2005/2006/2007/2008 Asia-waters and global cruising.
