Devarana Spa, Bangkok completes Renovation

Travel News Asia 12 October 2005

The Devarana Spa at The Dusit Thani, Bangkok, recently completed its first renovation, which was begun two months ago with the goal of providing the best spa experience for all spa lovers.

With its unique decor that summons up the vision of its “Garden in Heaven” concept derived from ancient Thai literature, Tribhumphraruang, the refurbishment is focused on contemporary Thai style. Contrast colours of silver, grey and orange were chosen to complement the more modern look of the spa and to underscore the sense of vitality. Luxurious textures, natural fabrics and state-of-the-art decorative materials were smartly blended to enhance the ambience of heavenly elegance.

Arranged around an elegant swimming pool, softly splashing waterfalls and an idyll of frangipani, all 14 private treatment rooms - one grand suite, four deluxe suites and nine standard rooms - were given a more impressive touch up with a full range of luxurious spa amenities. The spa also added a new cozy relaxation area so that guests can privately unwind after their pampering sessions.

In addition to the decorative works, Devarana Spa also installed new fully operated spa software, thus enabling the spa to easily and quickly manage spa appointments, to record and track all client information, such as health, service history and treatment preferences, and also supports other in-house operations, such as inventory control, retail management and cashier work, all aiming to deliver better and more personalized and consistent customer care.

Devarana Spa, Bangkok has been certified as one of Leading Spas of the World, which was established as the benchmark for global luxury standards in the spa and hospitality industries.
