Cendant Travel Distribution Services renews Partnership Agreement with Anglo-French Travel

Travel News Asia 11 May 2005

Cendant Travel Distribution Services (TDS) has renewed its partnership agreement with Anglo-French Travel (AFT), a leading provider of corporate and leisure travel services in Singapore and the region. Over the next three years, Cendant TDS will offer AFT complete solutions which support the company’s goal to expand its presence in both Singapore and throughout Asia.

“The market is beginning to realize that we are much more than Galileo, a Global Distribution System, helping agents to book and sell travel. We go well beyond distribution by aggregating and delivering content through a single entity, which is Cendant TDS. Corporate travel agencies like AFT continue to partner with us  because of our complete solutions package,” said Mark Rizzuto, Managing Director, Asia, Cendant TDS.

“At Cendant TDS we are committed to supporting our established business partners and their individual business strategies. We are delighted to continue our partnership with AFT and look forward to strengthening our work in Singapore,” Mr. Rizzuto added.

Mr. Lee Liat Cheng, AFT Chairman and CEO, said, “As the corporate and leisure travel markets become increasingly discerning and travel-savvy, our business benefits enormously from our progressive partnership with a global player like Cendant TDS, whose total package of innovative solutions supports our growth- not only in our key markets but also in those where we see strong potential. With Galileo, we are able to connect our front, mid and back office systems seamlessly thereby enabling us to service our clients better as well as providing them with up-to-date information on their entire travel details”.
