Galileo launches in Cambodia

Cendant Travel Distribution Services (TDS) has launched Galileo in Cambodia giving the global distribution system a presence in 23 countries in Asia Pacific.

Customers can now receive Galileo support in Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

“As travel both within and to Asia Pacific continues to show strong growth, we at Cendant are aggressively pursuing our strategy of regional expansion, to cover new markets and extend the convenience and reach we are able to offer our local, regional and global clients,” said Mr. Mark Rizzuto, Managing Director, Asia, Cendant TDS. 

“The number of in and outbound passengers to Cambodia continues to soar as the Kingdom maintains a newfound political stability. Outbound travel has seen substantial growth over the last few years and will continue to show strong growth in 2005. As international interest in Cambodia grows, we are there to support our new agency and airline customers,” Mark added.

The Galileo team will operate from their new offices located in Phnom Penh Centre.
