Wassim Tarabay appointed as Director of Sales at Radisson SAS Hotel, Dubai Media City

Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts has appointed Wassim Tarabay as Director of Sales for its soon-to-open hotel in Dubai Media City (DMC). Tarabay’s primary role will be to handle the Corporate and Travel Agent account segment.

Lebanese Tarabay, (32), has almost a decade of experience in the hospitality industry. His most recent position was Director of Sales – GCC for Rezidor SAS Hospitality, Regional Office, Middle East, where he was in charge of existing and future Rezidor SAS General Sales Representatives in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait. He was also responsible for directing leisure outbound business from the GCC, supporting Middle East hotels, attending trade shows and organising familiarisation trips.

“Tarabay’s extensive background and experience in sales will play a pivotal role in helping Radisson SAS, Dubai Media City establish a leading market position as one of the best business hotels in the emirate,” said Lars Gericke, Director of Sales and Marketing, Radisson SAS Hotel, Dubai Media City.

The Radisson SAS Hotel, Dubai Media City is located in the heart of the emirate’s emerging regional technology and communications hub and will offer 246 rooms, including five suites, designed in a contemporary style. The hotel offers three restaurants and four bars, 10 meeting rooms and a health & beauty centre with five themed massage rooms overlooking an outdoor pool.
