1. Electric Bikes Available to Rent at Outrigger Mauritius Beach Resort
Outrigger Mauritius Beach Resort has started renting electric bikes to guests. The resort has entered into a partnership with Electro-bike Discovery, a provider of electrically assisted bicycles. An electric bicycle is not a motorbike. It is primarily a bicycle, but it has an electric motor which provides a boost when needed. At full speed the bike can go 25km per hour.

5. Hong Kong’s Hotel Icon Invests in Electric Cars and an eBus
The Hotel Icon in Hong Kong has reduced its carbon footprint with the introduction of a fully electric transportation fleet, consisting of an electric hotel shuttle bus, two Tesla Model S and a BMW i3. The eBus, which is equipped with leather seats with seatbelts, air purifiers and individual passenger lights, whisks guests from Hotel Icon to Tsim Sha Tsui on a half hourly basis.
6. BMA Launches Thailand’s First All-Electric Commuter Ferry
The Bangkok Metropolitan Authority (BMA) has launched Thailand’s first all-electric commuter ferry. The 47.5-ft fiberglass vessel was repowered by MariArt Shipyard, replacing the existing 205hp diesel engine with twin Torqeedo Cruise 10 kW electric outboards, each with six Torqeedo lithium battery banks and two fast chargers.

Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence has installed an electric car charging station. The charging station works with a variety of vehicles, such as plug-in electric vehicles and hybrids. For a full-battery, vehicles get charged for eight straight hours, however a two-hour charging session is enough for 500-kilometre (310 mile) drive.
8. British Airways Launches Electric London Taxi Service at Heathrow
British Airways has launched an electric taxi service at its London Heathrow home, giving customers the opportunity to experience travelling in a legendary London taxi without leaving the airport. The London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) taxi features WiFi, phone, laptop and USB charging, as well as a panoramic roof.
