1. Falcon Aviation Takes Delivery of Two AW189 Helicopters
Falcon Aviation Services of Abu Dhabi has taken delivery of two AW189 super medium helicopters in offshore transport configuration. The order was signed in October 2014 and expands Falcon’s fleet of AgustaWestland helicopters, which already includes light helicopters such as the Grand and GrandNew, and will shortly be joined by the new AW169.
2. Bel Air Takes Delivery of Second AW139 Helicopter
Bel Air of Denmark has taken delivery of its second AgustaWestland AW139 medium twin helicopter. The 12-seat configured aircraft will perform offshore transport operations and joins the first helicopter, named Spirit of Agusta. A number of additional AW139s are expected to enter service with Bel Air in the future.
3. Falcon Aviation to Expand Helicopter Fleet with Three More AW169s
Falcon Aviation of Abu Dhabi is to expand its AgustaWestland AW169 helicopter fleet with the addition of a further three aircraft. The light-intermediate twin helicopters will have multi-mission capability with entry into service in first quarter of 2018. The aircraft will be acquired through operating lease, and represent the first helicopter lease transaction for Falcon.

In its 17th annual Turbine-Powered Civil Helicopter Purchasing Outlook, Honeywell Aerospace forecasts that 4,750-5,250 civilian-use helicopters will be delivered during 2015-2019.
