1. Airbus Reports Increase in Commercial Aircraft Deliveries in June
Airbus delivered 36 commercial aircraft in June 2020, an increase on the 24 delivered in May and 14 in April. The 36 aircraft comprised of one A220-300 to Air Canada and 31 A320neo Family aircraft including the first A320neo to China Express and first A321neo to VivaAerobús. Four A350-900s were delivered, two to Iberia, and one each to Air France and SAS.
2. IndiGo Takes Delivery of First Airbus A320neo
IndiGo has taken delivery of its first Airbus A320neo, making the Indian airline the first A320neo operator in Asia. IndiGo also placed an order in 2005 for 100 A320s which have all been delivered.
3. Frontier Airlines Takes Delivery of First Airbus A320neo

Frontier is the first U.S. airline to receive an A320neo with CFM engines, and the aircraft is the first of 80 A320neo Family aircraft the low-cost carrier has ordered. All of Frontier’s A320neo Family aircraft will be powered by CFM International LEAP-1A engines.
4. Mexico’s Volaris Becomes First Operator of Airbus A320neo in North America
Volaris has taken delivery of its first Airbus A320neo, making the airline the first operator of the A320neo in North America. Volaris, a low cost airline, is Mexico’s largest Airbus customer having ordered 74 A320 Family aircraft, including 30 A320neo. ANA has taken delivery of its first Airbus A320neo becoming the first A320neo operator in Japan. ANA’s A320neo is configured for 146 passengers in a two-class cabin layout with 8 business class seats and 138 economy class seats. It is powered by Pratt & Whitney’s PurePower PW1100G-JM engines.
6. Air India Takes Delivery of First Airbus A320neo
Air India has become the latest A320neo operator after taking delivery of the first of fourteen aircraft leased from Kuwait headquartered ALAFCO Aviation Lease And Finance Company, becoming the first CFM powered NEO operator in India. 7. Air Astana Signs Deal for Seven A320neo Family Aircraft
Air Astana has signed a deal for seven Airbus A320neo family aircraft, comprising two A320neo, one A321neo and four A321neo LR. The new aircraft will be acquired on operating leases basis from Air Lease Corporation of Los Angeles, USA. One A320neo is scheduled for delivery in spring 2016, with the remaining six aircraft to be delivered in 2018 and 2019.
8. Garuda Indonesia's Citilink Takes Delivery of First A320neo
Citilink, the low cost unit of Garuda Indonesia, has taken delivery of its first A320neo. The aircraft is the first of 35 A320neo set to enter service with the airline. Citilink has selected CFM Leap-1A engines to power its A320neo fleet, which will be operated on its domestic network, as well as new international services to China and the Middle East.
