Volaris, one of Mexico’s leading low-cost airlines, has amended its existing V-Services Fleet Hour Agreement with International Aero Engines (IAE) to add coverage for 26 incremental V2500 engines. Volaris’ entire fleet of A320 family aircraft powered by V2500 engines are now covered by an IAE V-Services aftermarket agreement. The deal is valued at approximately US$400 million.

Mexican low cost carrier Volaris, has signed a purchase agreement for 44 Airbus A320 aircraft, comprised of 30 A320neo and 14 A320 aircraft. The order represents the largest single commercial aircraft order ever by an airline in Mexico. Mexico’s low cost airline, Volaris, is deploying iPads as Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs), using SITA’s Managed Mobile Devices service. The iPads are replacing paper manuals and charts, reducing the volume of paper required on-board.
