The airline says that the grounding of the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft played a major role in the decision. Russian Helicopters has signed a dealership agreement with Ludev Aviation. Based in Malaysia, Ludev Aviation intends to purchase five VRT500 light multipurpose helicopters. Optional equipment and details of interior and a livery color scheme of VRT500 will be determined after the helicopter is issued a type certificate and an airworthiness certificate from EASA.
