Delta to Increase Flights to Hawaii. Delta Air Lines is to launch nonstop flights connecting Honolulu with Detroit and San Diego, beginning in June 2010. The new service marks the first time Delta has served Honolulu from San Diego in nearly 20 years and reinstates nonstop service from Detroit that had been discontinued in 2004.

Delta Studio, the airline's suite of onboard entertainment, will be free to all customers on two-class aircraft, nearly 90% of Delta's fleet, by 1 July 2016 the airline has confirmed. More than 1,000 aircraft offer Delta Studio via streaming through laptops, mobile devices and tablets, in addition to nearly 400 aircraft equipped with seat-back entertainment systems.

Marriott has expanded its Delta Hotels brand to Asia Pacific with the opening of the 339-room Delta Hotels by Marriott Shanghai Baoshan in China. The property is the first Delta hotel to open in the Asia Pacific market, a brand which expects to expand its global portfolio to 66 properties worldwide by the end of 2018.
