174. Thailand Grants Automatic Visa Extensions to Foreign Tourists
Thailand has become the latest country in the region to grant foreign tourists with automatic visa extensions. If a foreign tourist's right to remain in the Kingdom expired on or after 26 March 2020 it has now been automatically extended to 30 April 2020 without that person needing to visit immigration to apply for a visa extension, or pay any fine.

176. Macau Reports Increase in Golden Week Visitor Arrivals
According to the preliminary figures, total visitor arrivals to Macau during the National Day Golden Week holiday period this year (1-7 October) reached 775,968, 13.27% more than the figure during the National Day Golden Week holiday period last year. Visitors from Greater China amounted to 93.39%, among which, 580,350 were from the Mainland, an increase of 22.34%.
