The static strength test aircraft of Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ) was transferred on Wednesday from the final-assembly factory (Komaki South Plant of MHI's Nagoya Aerospace Systems Works located in Aichi Prefecture) to the strength test station to start preparations for the static strength test. The test will start this summer 2014, after preparations have been completed.

Japan Airlines is now using 480 new lightweight cargo containers on its international routes. The new cargo container weighs 58 kg, which is 41 kg less than the previous aluminum container the airline was using. The new container is made of synthetic resin in a honeycomb structure that gives it more durability than the aluminum one.
