Passenger volume rose by 3.5% to 5.5 million, while flight movements increased by 2.3% to 33,865 year on year. 238. Anantara Opens Second Resort in Sri Lanka
Thailand-based Minor Hotels Group has expanded its portfolio of Anantara hotels in the Indian Ocean with the opening of its second resort in Sri Lanka. The 141-key Anantara Kalutara Resort, a peacefully secluded hideaway located along the island’s southwest coast, is ten minutes from the town of Kalutara and an hour south of the capital Colombo.
239. Norwegian Bliss to Cruise Alaska from Seattle
The third ship in the line’s Breakaway-Plus class, the 167,800-gross ton Norwegian Bliss will be able to accommodate 4,000 guests. The ship will be constructed at Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany and is scheduled for delivery in spring 2018.
