SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC), in collaboration with Airbus Services, recently completed the first of 14 A380 full-cabin retrofits for Singapore Airlines (SIA). The extensive retrofit programme, which was announced in November 2017, sees the cabin products selected for SIA’s five recently delivered A380 aircraft installed on the airline’s in-service aircraft.

36. Korean Air Signs MOU for 20 Boeing 787-10s and 10 More 787-9s
Korean Air is to introduce 20 Boeing 787-10s and add 10 more Boeing 787-9s to its fleet. The South Korean airline signed a MOU on Monday to purchase the 30 Boeing wide-body aircraft at the Le Bourget Airport, where the 2019 Paris Air Show is currently being held.
37. Farnborough Airshow Reports Record Numbers
Farnborough Airshow has reported a record number of bookings for the month of June 2017. During the month, 76 companies confirmed their participation at next summer’s airshow comprising 25 first-time exhibitors. Seventeen returning exhibitors also increased their space, bringing the June total to 17,138sqm and 39 chalets confirmed.
