Minor Hotels Group has signed the first Avani hotel in the historic town of Luang Prabang, an UNESCO World Heritage Site in northern Laos. SAS is currently testing what it calls “Silent Morning Flights”. The new initiative eliminates most inflight announcements, with the exception of the safety briefing, from flights departing prior to 09:00.
