Etihad Airways is to launch daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Nairobi on 1 April 2012. The flights will be operated by a two class A320 aircraft with 16 Pearl Business class and 120 Coral Economy seats. Nairobi is the 72nd destination in Etihad’s global network and the return flights will create a new link between the two capital cities of Kenya and the United Arab Emirates.

Air Seychelles this week announced third quarter revenues of US$13.8 million, up 23% on the second quarter, as the airline’s restructuring program took effect in the drive towards profitability for 2012. The growth in revenues was led by a 51% quarter-on-quarter increase in passengers, up from 53,066 to 79,887, as seat factors rose from 43% to 60%.
