25. IHG Signs Third voco Hotel in Australia
IHG has signed its third voco hotel in Australia since the brand’s global launch in June. Part of the under-construction ‘380 Melbourne’ skyscraper that is being built and developed by Brady Group with a high end residential offering, the 252-room voco Melbourne Central will feature all the unique and playful hallmarks of the voco brand. The hotel is scheduled to open in July 2020.

Travellers can now buy tickets on Delta's brand new Airbus A220-100 aircraft. The A220 (formerly the Bombardier C Series) is the airline's latest investment in a fleet modernization program to replace 20% of older, less-efficient aircraft by 2020. Delta will be only the fourth airline in the world, after airBaltic, Korean Air and SWISS, to operate the A220.
27. Singapore Airlines Launches World’s Longest Commercial Flight
Singapore Airlines has launched the world’s longest commercial flight, between Singapore and New York. Operated by the all-new Airbus A350-900ULR (Ultra Long Range), the route will initially be served thrice-weekly, departing Singapore on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Daily operations will commence from 18 October after an additional A350-900ULR aircraft enters service.
28. Air Canada to Increase International Flights to/from Vancouver
Air Canada has unveiled plans to increase flights to Delhi with a daily year-round service starting 2 June 2019. The airline is also increasing its non-stop Melbourne service to four times weekly year-round, and the summer seasonal service to Zurich will increase to five flights a week. YVR-Osaka (Kansai) flights will operate five times per week from June to October next summer.

Finnair has introduced a service, where customers can offset the CO2 emissions of their flights by supporting a CO2 emission reduction project or reduce emissions by buying biofuel. The Push for Change service is available on the Finnair website and customers can also use Finnair Plus frequent flyer points to pay for the service.

S7 plans to take 10 more 737 MAX jets over the next few years as part of its strategic plan to strengthen its airplane fleet.
