Alban Dutemple has been appointed as Cluster General Manager of the Swiss-Belhotel Seef Bahrain and the Swiss-Belsuites Admiral Juffair. Alban has been working with the Swiss-Belhotel group as General Manager for Swiss-Belhotel Seef Bahrain since June 2018. The Swiss-Belsuites Admiral Juffair is scheduled to open in Q1 2020.

Embraer and WDL Aviation, a German charter and ACMI airline headquartered at Cologne Bonn Airport and part of the Zeitfracht logistics group, have signed an agreement on a Flight Hour Pool Program to support the airline’s recently leased fleet of four used E190s.
221. dusitD2 Nairobi to Reopen in June 2019
Dusit has announced that it is aiming to reopen the dusitD2 Nairobi hotel in June 2019. The hotel was closed on 15 January 2019 following an attack by Somali militants which claimed the lives of 21 innocent people. In addition to the hotel, the 14 Riverside complex in Nairobi’s exclusive Westlands neighbourhood houses restaurants, shops, and offices.
222. Korean Air Making a Difference in Manado, Indonesia
One of Korean Air’s volunteer groups were in Manado, Indonesia from 31 January to 5 February to help a local community there. The airline’s employees visited Yettrang, an underprivileged village with a high poverty rate and no education or welfare benefits.
223. Qantas Signs New Distribution Agreement with Amadeus
Qantas has signed a distribution agreement with Amadeus that includes a new private channel which will come into effect on 1 August 2019. The agreement ensures that Amadeus travel sellers that sign up to the Qantas Channel can continue to access the airline’s wide range of fares and products available for agents – including future NDC content.
224. Marriott Signs First Moxy Hotel in Australia
Marriott has signed the first Moxy Hotel in Australia. Scheduled to open in July 2021, the 180-room, new-build Moxy Melbourne South Yarra hotel is being developed by Melbourne businessmen Hector Ktori and Peter Arvanitis, and designed by architectural firm Rothelowman.
