Please note that on our recent trip  to Nakhorn Ratchasima, which included Khao Yai, we did not spend as much time as we would have liked in the outstandingly beautiful Khao Yai National Park. Because of this, the few pictures we have on Khao Yai are currently limited to this one page. We will however, be returning to Khao Yai very soon to take more pictures, and also to write a very extensive destination review, as Khao Yai has so much to offer both domestic Thai tourists, including expats living in Thailand, and those who are travelling to Thailand from overseas for a holiday or weekend break. Do bookmark this page and check back for more pictures of Khao Yai.

At around only 2 hours drive from Bangkok, Khao Yai has the potential to become a major tourist destination in Thailand. The scenery alone is breathtaking, the air clean, and fresh, and there are so many different activities for travellers to enjoy that you will want to return time and time again. This is Thailand with a difference, no touts, no major shopping malls, just an area for you to enjoy stunning picturesque scenery, a game of golf or two, wine tasting at a vineyard, world-class spa facilities and nature adventures such as rafting, trekking etc.

Khao Yai is perfect for those looking to  get away from the major cities, for those that want to get back in touch with nature, but at the same time want 5-star facilities and nonstrenuous activities to enjoy.

All but one of the pictures of Khao Yai below are from the PB Winery, which offers tours, wine tasting, and has a very nice restaurant overlooking the vineyard.
