The ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) is a travel trade show which
rotates annually among the member countries of ASEAN.
This year's ATF took take place in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, 15 -
21 January 2011. Check out the

Occupying an exhibition area of 8,430 sqm, the ATF Travex 2011
– a 3-day travel trade-only exhibition and business meetings
platform – featured 518 booths from 434 exhibiting companies from
the 10 ASEAN countries. The show managed to attract a total of 442
international buyers. Around 148 media delegates from across 32
countries also attended.

In 2012, the ATF will return to Indonesia, and
Organisers are Already Reporting Strong Early Interest.
The event includes a meeting of tourism working groups with
experts and senior officials of tourism agencies of ASEAN
countries; a meeting between ASEAN Tourism Agencies, ASEAN and
partners; ASEAN Tourism Ministers meeting, ASEAN and partners.

With budgets getting tighter and tighter, the economy worse and
worse, we would suggest that if ASEAN, and Asia as a whole, is a
priority for your company then also consider booking the
ITB Asia in Singapore which will take place in October, and
then consider whether you can also afford to attend the ITB Berlin
in March, the
Arabian Travel Market in Dubai this May and
WTM which takes place in November in London.
