1. Cathay Pacific Reopens its Level 7 Business Class Lounge of The Wing at HKIA
Cathay Pacific has reopened its Level 7 Business Class Lounge of The Wing at Hong Kong International Airport following an extensive renovation. The newly opened 1,935-square-metre Level 7 lounge, together with the 1,002-square-metre Business Class Lounge on Level 6 that reopened in April 2011, offers a new level of comfort and service for passengers flying out of Hong Kong.

Amadeus has received Level 3 New Distribution Capability (NDC) certification as an aggregator from International Air Transport Association (IATA). This latest certification is in addition to Amadeus’ existing Level 3 NDC certification as an IT provider, making Amadeus one of the first providers with dual Level 3 certification.

The H145 simulator at the Airbus Helicopters Training Academy in Germany has been awarded level D status by the German Federal Aviation Office, the highest possible certification for a full flight simulator. Not only is it the world’s first certified full flight simulator for the H145, but it is also the first helicopter simulator in Germany to receive EASA level D certification.
