5. Cathay Pacific to Launch Non-Stop Flights to Colombo
Cathay Pacific is to enhance its service to Sri Lanka by operating four non-stop flights a week to Colombo from 27 October 2014. The direct flights will replace the flights that currently stop in Singapore. The airline will still offer a daily service to Sri Lanka, with three flights a week continuing to operate via Bangkok.

8. IHG Receives Binding Offer for InterContinental Paris - Le Grand
InterContinental Hotels Group has received a binding offer from Constellation Hotels Holding Limited to acquire InterContinental Paris – Le Grand. The proposed purchase price is €330 million ($442 million), payable in cash at completion. Constellation has made a further commitment to invest over time an estimated €60 million in future hotel renovations.
