Boeing, in partnership with Space Florida, has an arrangement to use the Orbiter Processing Facility-3 (OPF-3) to manufacture, assemble, and test the companys Crew Space Transportation (CST)-100 spacecraft.
27. Qatar Airways to Increase Flights to Iran; Launch Isfahan Service
Qatar Airways is to increase capacity across its network in the Islamic Republic of Iran, and will launch daily scheduled flights to a fourth city the central Iranian city of Isfahan. An additional 31 flights each week will be operated by the Doha-based airline between the State of Qatar and Iran, representing an 150% increase in overall frequency.

Passengers at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) have the highest demand for self-service options of all six major airport hubs included in this years SITA/Air Transport World Passenger Self-Service Survey, which also found high rates of smartphone adoption among premium travelers. It is the first time that AUH has featured in the survey.

After leading the ACI Asia Pacific regional office for five years, Mrs. Maggie Kwok retired on 1 November and Mrs. Patti Chau will now lead the office as the new Regional Director. Mrs. Chau is a Certified General Accountant who joined the regional office in May 2004 and previously worked in Vancouver Airport Services prior to joining ACI.

The first relief goods were delivered to Bangkok via the KE653 flight from Seoul/Incheon on 31 October 2011 and the rest will be transferred through Korean Airs regular scheduled flights with timing dependent on the situation in Thailand and flight schedules.

The 51-year-old, who until recently held the post of Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing for Kempinski Hotels & Resorts, is taking over from Petra Gtting who is leaving the company at the end of the year.
32. SIA Names its New Low Cost Airline Scoot Airlines
Singapore Airlines has unveiled that the name of its new low cost airline will be Scoot Airlines. SIA first announced that it would launch a new low cost airline in May of this year. The new airline will compete directly with AirAsia X, the long haul affiliate of the hugely popular Malaysian low budget airline, AirAsia, as well as other low cost long haul airlines in the region.
