Virgin Atlantic Cargo saw tonnage rise 1% in the first six months of 2014 to 111,196 tonnes, and recorded a 3% increase in its load factor to reach 76% network-wide. The contract also includes purchase rights for a further 12 E190-E2, with conversion rights to the E195-E2, bringing the total potential order up to 24 E-Jets E2s. If all the purchase rights are exercised, the deal has a list price value of US$1.
