137. Boeing Awarded US$2.8 Billion for KC-46A Tanker Production
The U.S. Air Force has awarded Boeing a US$2.8 billion contract for KC-46A tanker low-rate initial production. The deal includes the first two production lots of 7 and 12 planes respectively, as well as spare parts. Including future options, Boeing plans to build a total of 179 of the 767-based refueling aircraft for the Air Force to replace their KC-135 fleet.

Japan Airlines (JAL) has decided to extend the service period of 15 minutes free inflight internet access to all customers flying on domestic routes within Japan. The free campaign has been prolonged until 31 March 2017. Currently, JAL operates 69 domestic aircraft equipped with an inflight Wi-Fi system. All 77 domestic aircraft will be equipped by March 2017.

Hong Kong Airlines has taken delivery of an an Airbus A330-300, expanding its fleet to 32 aircraft. The A330-300 has a seating capacity of 285 passengers and 695 cubic feet of cargo. It is configured with 30 Business Class seats and 255 Economy Class seats.
