The first flight was operated by one of Atrans Boeing 737-400SF freighters with further plans for Boeing 737-800BCF deployment to be able to guarantee up to 23 tonnes of cargo capacity per flight.

Emirates is to upgrade one of its two daily flights on the Dubai-Moscow route to an Airbus A380-800, from 1 December 2016. Over the past 12 months, demand has increased, with some 400,000 passengers having travelled on the route.
