113. Japans Skymark Airlines Orders Two More A380s
Skymark Airlines, Japans third largest and fast growing airline, has placed firm orders with Airbus for two more A380 aircraft. This latest purchase agreement brings the total number of A380s ordered by Skymark to six aircraft. The Japanese carrier plans to start operations with the A380 on international routes linking Narita to destinations in Europe and the U.S.
114. United Airlines Unveils its First Boeing 787 Dreamliner International Routes
United Airlines has unveiled the first international routes for the airlines newest addition to its fleet, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. In addition to the previously-announced service from its Denver hub to Tokyo Narita, starting 31 March 2013, the airline will operate nonstop 787 service five days a week between its Houston hub and Lagos, Nigeria, beginning 7 January 2013.

Japans All Nippon Airways made aviation history on Tuesday by operating the first ever passenger flight of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The specially chartered flight took off from Narita Airport, Tokyo, with more than 240 passengers of board just after midday and landed four and a half hours later in Hong Kong.

Japan's All Nippon Airways (ANA) has unveiled plans to launch flights between Tokyo Narita Airport (NRT) and Vladivostok International Airport (VVO) on 16 March, 2020. The new route is part of a ANA's strategy to increase its presence in Russia by offering service to additional cities across the country.
117. Air Canada to Expand its International Services
Air Canada has unveiled major expansion plans for its international services. The carrier is launching a new non-stop route between Toronto and Seoul, starting a service to Istanbul subject to government approval, adding seven weekly departures to Beijing from Toronto and Vancouver, and upgrading its Calgary-Tokyo Narita route to provide daily service.
118. Emirates to Add Seven Cities to Expanding Network
Emirates has confirmed plans to expand its network to a further seven cities this month. The airline will launch passenger flights to Khartoum on 3 July, Amman (5 July), Osaka (7 July), Narita (8 July), Athens (15 July), Larnaca (15 July) and Rome (15 July).

AirAsia Japan, the newest low-cost carrier (LCC) based at Narita International Airport, has launched daily flights to Fukuoka and Sapporo. To celebrate the launch, travellers can enjoy celebratory low fares from 100 yen one way between Sapporo, Fukuoka, Okinawa and Tokyo until 23:59 on 5th August 2012 for travel between 28 August and 27 October 2012.
