19. Philippine Airlines Recruitment Drive Heads to Davao and Cagayan de Oro
The airline is also continuing its recruitment drive -- this time in Davao and Cagayan de Oro cities -- to recruit pilots and cabin crew. Cebu Pacific has confirmed that it will increase flights between Cebu and Narita, Japan from four times per week to a daily flight, effective 1 December 2018. Cebu Pacific has also made connections to Narita simpler and easier from Bacolod, Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro or Davao by offering seamless flight schedules as well as one-time check-in for both domestic and international flights.

AirAsia has unveiled plans to launch flights from both Clark and Cebu to General Santos, the southernmost city in the country. Flights from Clark will operate thrice weekly, with Z2 965 departing at 13:40 and arriving in General Santos 15:40. The return flight, Z2 966, is timed to leave General Santos at 16:10 and arrive in Clark at 18:10.
23. Cebu Pacific Takes Delivery of its 40th Aircraft
Cebu Pacific Air has taken delivery of its 40th aircraft, an Airbus A320. The aircraft is CEB’s 22nd Airbus A320. CEB’s fleet is now composed of 10 Airbus A319 and 8 ATR 72-500 aircraft. One more Airbus A320 will be delivered in November 2012.

Cebu Pacific has unveiled plans to launch direct flights between Cebu and Shanghai, China. The airline will operate six flights per week, Monday to Saturday, beginning 15 April 2019.
