Emirates has launched a second daily Airbus A380 service to London Gatwick Airport. The A380, to operate EK15/16 instead of a Boeing 777, will add a total of 318 seats per day, a capacity increase in all three classes of 11.5%. Over 330,000 customers have already flown with the A380 to and from London Gatwick since the aircraft was first deployed in March 2014.

Emirates is to begin daily, non-stop flights between Taipei and Dubai on 10 February 2014. Emirates will fly a Boeing 777-300ER on the Taipei route, equipped with eight private suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class, and seats for 304 passengers in Economy Class.

Etihad Airways has signed a codeshare agreement with Aegean Airlines, Greece’s largest commercial airline.
